Jo Ann "Jody" Suttie is a Chicago native who loves to talk about her hometown.
Jody's financial career started right out of college in Chicago working in the brokerage industry for ten years as a registered representative and portfolio manager before moving over to handle the business side of her family's third party claim's administration business for eight years. "It was an honor to work so closely with my father for those years. He was a master at his craft and taught me an incredible amount about insurance." In 1997, Jody and her husband, Tom, moved to Des Moines with their four children. Jody says, "You can still see my heel marks on I-80 from the move!" But now Des Moines is home.
It was the move that got her into the senior market side of the insurance industry and it is a perfect match. After several years with American Republic and State Farm Insurance Companies specializing in life, health and long term care Jody moved to Gremler Financial as the insurance specialist for the firm.
Jody and her husband, Tom, make their home in Des Moines along with their children Cait, Anna, Clair and Grant. She is currently on the Friends of the Botanical Center Board, active at her church and can be found in the bleachers of her kids swim meets, baseball or softball games and track meets.
