Cathy Watson Cathy Watson joined Gremler Financial Group in July 2007.  She is an administrative assistant/communications specialist, fielding phone calls and directing them to the correct individuals.  Cathy manages and oversees agency and individual licensing in addition to a plethora of small details necessary to keep the Service Department running smoothly.  With several years of administrative experience including human resources, bookkeeping and general office management, her diverse background enables Cathy to take on just about any assignment.  However, her favorite assignment at Gremler Financial Group is the monthly potluck when she can experiment with new recipes for the staff.

An Ohio native, Cathy has lived in several states including Michigan, Indiana, California and now Iowa.  Having moved seven times in ten years with her husband’s transfers, she affectionately refers to the moves as “tours of duty”.  “Sometimes there are boxes that don’t even get unpacked before we move again”.

Cathy is passionate about senior pet rescue and counted cross-stitch embroidery.  Her animals, two dogs and a cat, were adopted from websites where they feature senior pets – pets over the age of seven years.  Having been an avid needleworker for more than 30 years, Cathy has won several ribbons for her pieces at the Iowa State Fair.
